Victor is from Samuel Town, Sierra Leone. He and his younger brother live with his mother as his father died several years ago. As the sole parent and breadwinner, Victor’s mother depends on the sale of produce from the backyard garden to provide a small income for the family.
Victor’s mother does her best to provide for her family, to have enough food for everyone, cover rent for their home, and to pay tuition fees so that Victor can continue at school. It is a precarious situation, and while not much is certain, Victor is steadfast about his life’s purpose. His goal is to go to medical school and become a doctor so that he can help people. Attending Pathway Academy is just one part of his plan to attain his dream goal. Victor appreciates all the support donors provide to Pathway Academy, enabling him to pursue his dream of becoming a doctor one day.
